ܽƵapp Giving Campaign

ܽƵapp is excited to announce its new ܽƵapp Giving Campaign to support its facilities and equipment projects as the College nears completion of its Facilities Master Plan Phase I projects and launches its second phase of projects. Below is a list of Phase I projects, as well as examples of some of the many upcoming projects. Your contribution of any amount will be instrumental in helping ܽƵapp continue to modernize its facilities.

Upcoming Projects

Nebraska Hall Renovation (Milford)

The goal of renovating Nebraska Hall is to restore the iconic historic building for a new campus purpose now that it has been taken out of service as a residence hall. The goal is to create a gathering place for students to collaborate together and where all major student support services are located under one roof. The building’s close proximity to the G. Alan Dunlap Center, where the cafeteria and campus store are located, as well as being between the Eicher Technical Center and the new residential housing make it the ideal spot on campus to create a hub for students to gather. Initial conceptual design ideas are being considered.

Student and Academic Support Renovation (Lincoln)

This project involves construction of a 25,672 square-foot, two-story addition and renovation of 80,038 square feet of internal spaces, with 5,055 square feet of mechanical mezzanine. It addresses vital fire and life safety needs through: fire suppression that includes sprinkling the current gymnasium, appropriate firewall separations; appropriate egress all in adherence to current fire and life safety code. While the College addresses these needs, it is using the opportunity to modernize, expand and organize the spaces to improve access for students to these vital academic support needs. Estimated completion date: April 2023.
