Human Services – Alcohol and Drug Counseling
Program Description
The Alcohol & Drug Counseling Program prepares students for a career in the addiction and recovering profession. We train students to work in Treatment Centers and community agencies; helping individuals overcome addiction and the challenges involved in recovery. This certificate is for students who have already earned an associates degree or higher or who seek to earn their Alcohol & Drug Counseling License.
You will study the physical, mental, and social aspects of alcohol and drug use and dependency.
Courses in this certificate program meet requirements for the education required for Alcohol & Drug Counseling License for the State of Nebraska and prepares students to take the Nebraska credentialing exam and become provisionally licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

- Submit ACT, SAT, Next Generation Accuplacer, or Accuplacer test scores (reading and math) or official college transcripts showing completion of post-secondary coursework in English and math to the Admissions Office at any ÅÝܽÊÓƵapp location.
